3 "feather the nest" baby shower

i've inherited some seriously cute friends this year...
{um yes, officially, one year in san diego! that's nuts.}

i say inherited, cause they were friends of a friend to start.
and i can't get enough of them.
they've just sucked me in like i belong and i love them for that.

my girlfriend lela, threw a darling shower for our friend carrie,
who is having a little girl.

since everything is better with a bird on it, 
the theme was "feather her nest"
and i had nothing to do with any of this cuteness,
except some chicken salad, and that i brought my camera ;)

i just love showers.


 

this tortellini salad i ate all night, 

and they sent some home with this pregnant chick,

i apparently needed it...

cute dude company...

 get this cute idea:

lela was gone for a few months {her husband is military}

and a friend there had lela's SD friends send fabric to make her a quilt.

now that she's back, they could all see it! 

i love it. such a sweet idea.

 aren't they all beautiful?

 the 4 pregos... i literally had to push mine out a bit

and felt a little silly even next to these gorgeous ladies....

{though i wouldn't have to push it if we took one today!}
